It's SO Frustrating...Right?

It's SO Frustrating...Right?
You see...Training a puppy that is under 5 months old is like pre-school for a child...as it's teaching him the basic lessons and manners...and getting him ready for the adult lessons he'll need to permanently deal with the bigger issues.

Adult Training Program

After just 9 simple lessons and 10 minutes of daily practice, you'll have a puppy who is increasingly getting better at coming when you call him/her, walking calmly right next to you, obeying your various commands and getting socialized around other dogs...which sets him/her up great for adult training lessons (which will fix the naughty behaviors that will soon emerge in adolescence!).

First, we'll need to ADD some new behaviors to your puppy's life so that when you give a command, your dog will obey it.
We call them the 7 Basic Life Commands. They are sit, down, stay, come, heel, go to bed, release).
You can teach your dog 100 commands, but these are all the ones you actually need.

Second, we need to SUBTRACT the most common problem behaviors so that your puppy can control his/her impulses.
We'll focus on pulling on the leash, potty accidents, playfully biting too hard/nipping, bolting out the door, jumping on guests, chewing shoes/table legs & scratching you.
*This program won't fix aggression or reactivity issues (like biting or lunging at others),

Lastly, we need to MIX-IN distractions, traffic and other animals so that your puppy learns that people, dogs, bikes, skaters and are are nothing to be anxious about...which is where the all-important socialization comes in so he will play with others nicely.
This is where practicing your lessons at the park, at the store and anywhere you go comes in.
You'll practice just like you do at home, but in public until it's effortless. With a good coach, it's easier than you think.
We'll show you.

Over the course of the 9 main lessons, we'll show you exactly what to do to train your puppy on-leash. This training is self-paced and allows you to train within your busy life and schedule.

Each lesson gives you specific goals to hit. The more you practice, the better. Working with your puppy several times a week will help re-enforce all that you are working on.

Clients call-in to a group coaching call each week to get answers to their questions with one of our Senior Dog Pro's. It's a great time to get the customization to your dog that you might need if your pup is hardheaded or being problematic somehow.
You'll be amazed by the transformation as our other clients are!

Corey is a Certified Master Dog Trainer and the Founder of Wonder Dog. He leads and trains our team of Dog Pro's here at the Wonder Dog Academy in Memphis, TN, who each train about 200 dogs a year.

Gabi is one of our Senior Dog Pro's, has trained hundreds of dogs in the Nashville, TN area and is so incredible on camera that we had to ask her to help with this project.
The #1 issue in puppy training is WHERE you train him. If you train him at a store or park, then it will be VERY difficult to fix the problem behaviors happening AT HOME that are driving you crazy!
The good news is that Wonder Dog does the ONE THING that most dog trainers won’t: we help you train your puppy right where he/she lives and plays and eats and runs, teaching both the 7 Basic Life Commands PLUS fixing all of your furball's behavior problems.
